Stark County Job and Family Services helps 800-900 kids at Christmas

Stockings filled with fun items such as toys, school supplies and personal items for children of all ages are collected and distributed to Stark County children in need through Project KARE. Stockings go to children in kinship care with relatives, group homes and residential homes, foster care and protective care.

Project KARE collects filled stockings for children of all ages.

STOCKING STUFFER SUGGESTIONS: Matchbox cars, Small dolls or stuffed animals, Bubble bath, fun soaps, Card games (Old Maid, Go Fish, etc.) Flash cards, (Math, colors, shapes, etc.) Toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss Lip balm (chapstick, flavored balm) Hand lotion, cologne, body spray, Baby powder, baby lotion, Rattles, small baby toys, Small hand held electronic games (Yahtzee, Connect 4, etc.), Combs, brushes, hair accessories, Small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and hair gel, Sugarless bubble gum, Crossword Puzzle books, Word Search Books
