Your Life is Your Mission

This is a phrase you’ll hear often in our student ministry.

This is a phrase you’ll hear often in Student Ministry. In a nutshell, it means that Jesus has us on a mission with him every minute of every day. That mission is to be like him by connecting with our Father in heaven, having healthy relationships and loving and serving people around us.  It means that our life – who we are, how we live, the way we love those around us – is the mission.

We need you!

If you have a heart for teens, or just love to serve, we’d love to talk to you about helping in Student Ministries. Whether you bake the most amazing cookies or want to help students in their journey with Christ, everyone has some way that they can invest in the next generation.

Are you a Follower of Jesus?

We can’t introduce someone to Jesus if we don’t know Him first. It does not matter to us how long you have followed Jesus, just as long as you have started the journey with Him and seek to live in a way that pleases Him. Leaders are learners; once you stop learning you stop leading.

Are you willing to serve?

Leaders are servants. Jesus said he did not come to be served but to serve, and there are so many ways to serve. Discussion Group leader, Baking, Driving, Praying, and so on. Everyone has gifts and we want to help show students that serving is an important role in ministry.

Do you desire to see God use you?

Leaders lead by how they live. Are you willing to let God use you to impact teens?
